Advertising in the Annual Conference Program and Exhibiting in the Book and Trade Fair

The Annual Conference Program, published in January, is the the official guide to the College Art Association's Annual Conference—the only national forum for artists and art historians and the largest gathering of its kind. This indispensable publication lists all sessions, activities, meetings, museum receptions, and alumni reunions and is referred to repeatedly during the course of the conference. It is retained by many as a record of the proceedings as well as a professional reference source. Place your advertising in the program, which is distributed to up to 5,000 conference attendees each year.

If your marketing plan calls for personal contact with potential buyers, the Annual Conference Book and Trade Fair offers you the opportunity to meet in one location with the largest gathering of leaders of the visual-arts community. Exhibit space is available to display books and art-related products throughout the three-day conference.

IS THE BOOK AND TRADE FAIR THE RIGHT PLACE FOR YOU TO EXHIBIT?

The purpose of the Book and Trade Fair at the Annual Conference is to complement the program of the conference by educating CAA members as to currently available art and art history related products, publications, and services, and to give the exhibitor the opportunity to stimulate a demand for the products and services. Any of the following listed would be qualified to exhibit at the conference:
  • publications related to visual art, art history, architecture or related cultural studies
  • artist materials
  • digital resources for the visual-arts professions
  • information regarding specialized programs of advanced study for the visual arts

If you are not sure whether the Book and Trade Fair is an appropriate opportunity for you to participate in the conference, please contact us to discuss what the possibilities may be.
