Center for Arts and Culture Closes

The Center for the Arts and Culture, a nonprofit, bipartisan resource for news and information on policies affecting the arts, has shut down its operations. Formed in 1994 by a consortium of foundations in Washington, D.C., the center had became known for its public listserv, website, and research reports that provided news about arts and culture.

However, Americans for the Arts has announced that it will take over the center's operations.
