CAA welcomes nominees who have produced significant critical work in the field of visual arts over the preceding year. Past recipients of this award have Linda Nochlin (78), Donald Kuspit (83), Leo Steinberg (84), Arthur C. Danto (96), and most recently Roberta Smith (03), and The Guerrilla Girls (04).Submission Guidelines
- Please submit a copy of the critical writing(s) and up to ten letters of support describing why the individual was nominated and should be considered for the award.
