Heritage Preservation Award for Distinction in Scholarship and Conservation
The CAA/Heritage Preservation Award for Distinction in Scholarship and Conservation was initiated in 1990 for an outstanding contributions by one or more persons who, individual or jointly, have enhanced understanding of art through the application of knowledge and experience in conservation, art history, and art. Past winners of this award include Robert L. Feller (92), Molly Ann Fairies (95), W. Thomas Chase, (98), Harry Cooper and Ron Spronk (02), and most recently Andrea Kirsh and Rustin S. Levenson (01), and Carol Mancusi-Ungaro (04).
Submission Guidelines
- Each nomination should include a c.v. (limit two pages), a nomination form, and up to ten letters of support. Letters of support are important for reference, but the awards decisions are the responsibilities of the juries based on their expert assessment of the qualifications of the nominees.
- Applications for the 2009 Awards must be received by August 31, 2008 at CAA. For further information please email Emmanuel Lemakis, CAA Director of Programs.
