Arthur Kingsley Porter Prize

The Arthur Kingsley Porter Prize was established in 1957, in memory of a founding member of the CAA and one of the first American scholars of the discipline. This award seeks to encourage high scholarly standards among younger members of the profession. The prize is awarded for a distinguished article published in The Art Bulletin during the penultimate calendar year by a scholar of any nationality who is under the age of 35 or who has received the doctorate not more than 10 years before acceptance of the article for publication.

To determine eligibility, please complete this form and return it to CAA with a current c.v. (limit: two pages) by August 31, 2008. For further information please email Emmanuel Lemakis, CAA Director of Programs.
