Committees

By-law Committees of the Board of Directors

These committees are composed of members of the Board of Directors and senior staff. Please direct all queries regarding CAA By-law Committees to Vanessa Jalet, CAA executive assistant, at 212-691-1051, ext. 261.

Executive Comittee
The Executive Committee is comprised of the elected officers of the Board (i.e., the president, vice president for external affairs, vice president for committees, vice president for Annual Conference, vice president for publications, and secretary), the treasurer, the counsel, and the executive director. Between meetings of the Board, the committee advises the Board, undertakes the management of CAA business, and exercises such powers as may be delegated to it by the Board.

Finance and Budget Committee
The Finance and Budget Committee is comprised of the elected officers of the Board, the treasurer, the executive director, and the CAA chief financial officer. It is responsible for the general planning of CAA’s financial affairs, including the preparation (with CAA staff) of an annual budget for review and approval by the Executive Committee and the Board, and the arrangement of an annual audit of CAA’s books.
