Annual Conference Committee

This committee oversees the Annual Conference. Its members include board members and the regional representatives of the relevant Annual Conference.

The Exhibitions Committee selects at least one significant CAA exhibition and accompanying catalogue every calendar year, which exhibition will coincide with the Annual Conference.

Publications Committee

The Publications Committee oversees CAA’s publishing activities and supervises the editorial boards of The Art Bulletin, Art Journal and caa.reviews, the juries of the Millard Meiss Publication Fund, the Wyeth Publication Grant, and the CAA Publication Grant, and other projects. It comprises 7 voting and 5 nonvoting members: the CAA Board Vice President for Publications (chair), the chairs of the The Art Bulletin, Art Journal and caa.reviews editorial boards, 1 CAA Board member, 2 CAA members at large, the editors-in-chief of The Art Bulletin, Art Journal and caa.reviews (nonvoting), and the director of publications (nonvoting).

Millard Meiss Publication Fund Jury

This jury meets twice a year to determine the recipients of the Millard Meiss Publication Fund. CAA awards Millard Meiss Publication Grants to support book-length scholarly manuscripts in the history of art, visual studies, and related subjects that have been accepted by a publisher on their merits but cannot be published in the most desirable form without a subsidy.

Publication Grant Jury

This jury meets once a year to determine the recipient of the CAA Publication Grant.
