CALL FOR ART- Strength through Connection

Coburn Art Gallery at Ashland University seeks works for a thematic exhibition entitled Strength through Connection. Works should address building a better understanding of our diverse community population through race, class and religion. Open to all media including video. The exhibition will run October 26-November 17, 2017. Interested artists should submit an email to the gallery director Cynthia Petry at coburngallery@ashland.edu.  Include current vita, artist statement and up three images. Include title, media and dimensions with images. Indicate “Strength through Connection” Call for Art in your subject line. Deadline to submit entries June 16, 2017. Notifications sent July 10th. Accepted artworks will need to be delivered by October 18th. No entry fee. This exhibition will be part of the programing for the 2017/18 Ashland University Symposium entitled “Against Indifference”. Artists responsible for all shipping costs.
