Making Our Mark: Surface Design Association 40th Anniversary Intensive

Join SDA when we return to Portland, Oregon for the biennial conference centered on creativity and our 40th Anniversary. This conference features an array of exciting speakers, balancing thoughtful inquiry and dialogue with making and celebration. Making Our Mark will be held in partnership with Portland State University and Oregon College of Art & Craft, with sponsorship from the American Crafts Council and Friends of Fiber Art.

Regular registration is $390 (includes Saturday lunch and appetizer reception)

Student registration is $200 (includes Saturday lunch and appetizer reception)

Trunk Show participation is $50

Register early! The conference will be limited to 250 participants. Late fees apply after July 1 when registration fees increase to $440 (regular) and $235 (student).

 

Keynote speakers include Sheila Pepe, Josh Faught, Aram Han Sifuentes and Jane Lackey.

 

Special events for students include a breakout session with Sheila Pepe, mentoring and networking, scholarship assistance, 10x20 Students Making Our Mark student presentation, Future Tense student exhibition, and discounted student registration rates and economical dormitory accommodations.
