Call for Artists: Contemporary Art Solo Show Series

CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in the Contemporary Art Solo Show Series and the publication. Each selected artist will have a solo exhibition for a week in the gallery space (around 44m2). The artists will be also featured in the the e-book, “CICA Art Now #2,” which will be available via Amazon. The printed version will be available by order.

*The categories include:
– Painting
– Photography
– Sculpture and Installation Art
– Performance
– Video & New Media Art

*Timeline:
July 29, 2017: Close submissions
August 7 –  12, 2017 Approvals: Selected artists will be notified by email.
Between September 2017 and June 2018: Contemporary Art Solo Show Series
June 1, 2018: Expected publication date of “CICA Art Now #2”

*How to submit your work:
– Please send us up to 10 JPG portfolio images and/or up to 3 direct links to video/ web/interactive art, your artist statement, and bio. Please email them to “cicamuseum.submission@gmail.com.”
– Please write “Submission: Contemporary Art Solo Show – Your Name” in the subject line of your email.

If your work is selected, you will be required to pay the show maintenance fee: $500 (USD). The artist is responsible for the shipment and delivery of his/her work to and from CICA Museum, as well as all related expenses.
