ABOUT:
The Pensacola Museum of Art at the University of West Florida , Pensacola 350, and UWF Department of Art invites makers, designers, and creative thinkers of all disciplines to submit artworks and transdiscplinary projects to Crossing Boundaries: Art and the Future of EnergyNational Juried Exhibition.  Submissions should attend to and contemplate issues such as the future of clean energy, eco-aesthetics, eco-justice, sustainability, social practice and the environment, the intersections of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM), etc. This call is open to all media and materials as well as research-based projects that are contextualized through aesthetic practices.

Crossing BoundariesArt and the Future of Energy National Juried Exhibition aims to serve as a laboratory for the exchange of innovative ideas as well as a space for experimental investigations. The intersection of art and science can reveal our path to resiliency as we face a changing climate and the environmental, economic and social challenges that impact all cultures, countries, and nationalities globally.

The Clean Energy Festival, part of the second annual Foo Foo Festival, is made possible by a grant from Art, Culture and Entertainment (ACE), Inc., and the sponsorship of Pensacola Community Action Network (Pensacola CAN).

DIRECTIONS FOR SUBMISSION:

1.) Click on "Pay Submission Fee Here" button to submit fee. Submissions will only be reviewed if fee is paid. After paying the submission fee, send the required materials as a Dropbox link to pmoasubmissions@gmail.com with the subject line “Crossing Boundaries Submission.” 

2.) Submit required materials.
+All submissions should be sent via a Dropbox link. 

3.) Upload your materials to www.dropbox.com (free). 

REQUIRED MATERIALS Create a dropbox folder with your full name. Include the following: 
+Up to 3 submissions, at 5 images/videos per submission. Accepted file formats: (.jpg format) or (mp4 for sound files) or (.mov) for video files.  Vimeo links are also acceptable and to be included within image list pdf/.
+Image list (.pdf format)
Please include title, year, media and scale for each image. Also, please include a thumbnail and/or file number so we know which image the information refers to.
+Artist statement (.pdf format) 
No more than one page, please. 
+Curriculum vitae/resume (.pdf format)
Please be sure to include contact information:
Name
Address
Phone and email contacts
+Related support material (.pdf format)
Reviews, catalogs, articles, etc. Anything that might help contextualize your work and/or proposal.

4.) Click the “share” link to share the folder with: pmoasubmissions@gmail.com.
