2018 MIDWEST PHOTO EMERGE

This is the sixth year of the EMERGE competition. We are looking to give one $250 EMERGE Fellowship Award and exhibition opportunities to emerging photographers. This fellowship opportunity is geared toward photographers looking to launch their art careers through the exposure of exhibition.

Eligibilty: Open to all emerging photographers nationwide in the USA. All photographic media is welcome; black & white gelatin silver prints, color c-prints, digital prints, alternative processes, etc... Selection will be based upon the series of work submitted by each artist rather than solely on individual images. A brief artist statement is optional. Selected artists will have their work featured in the exhibition and online. One recipient will be awarded the $250 EMERGE Fellowship Award, and receive one year artist representation by MWCP online.

Exhibition dates: March 30 - April 13, 2018.

Entry fee: $40. To enter, submit JPEG files to the gallery via email, and follow the requirements in the online form at http://www.mwcponline.com/emerge-entry.html
