The 8th International Conference on Contemporary Cast Iron Art in Scranton, Pennsylvania is offering amateur artists, metal workers, and students the opportunity to work directly with national and international contemporary sculptors in a mentor/mentee program called the Meltzone. The purpose of this program is the dissemination of technical, aesthetic, and conceptual knowledge from one generation to another through the personal work of the mentor and mentee. Participants will submit 3 images of work by email and from this pool, a selection process will pair small groups of participants with mentors to work together on a pattern, mold, and casting at the conference!

To enter:
• Email 3 images of your artwork/metalwork in PDF format to stacey.rathert@icccia.com by January 31st, 2018, with the subject “Meltzone.” Title images Lastname_Firstname_Image_1.pdf
