The 8th International Conference on Contemporary Cast Iron Art in Scranton, Pennsylvania is offering amateur artists, metal workers, and students the opportunity to work directly with national and international contemporary sculptors in a mentor/mentee program called the Meltzone. The purpose of this program is the dissemination of technical, aesthetic, and conceptual knowledge from one generation to another through the personal work of the mentor and mentee.
