Call For Artists: stARTup Art Fair SF 2018

Type: Exhibition Opportunities [View all]
Posted by: Startup Art Fair LLC
Deadline: Mon, February 19th, 2018

stARTup Art Fair San Francisco is a contemporary art fair for independent artists that runs April 27-29, 2018 at the Hotel Del Sol in San Francisco and takes place at the same time as the Art Market SF gallery fair at nearby Fort Mason.

stARTup is a unique concept that connects artists with thousands of collectors, curators, dealers, consultants, art writers, and designers who come to discover and buy art from some of the best independent artists working today. Your work will be reviewed by a prestigious and diverse selection committee of art world professionals so you can exhibit your work with confidence, sell on your own terms, and enjoy 100% of the sales.

Those selected from the open application process will each take over a hotel room for the course of three days to present a solo show of their work. Through its democratic, online application, artists get the opportunity to have their work reviewed by our impressive Selection Committee:

Lordy Rodriguez, Artist and Assistant Professor of Art, San Jose State University

Monique Deschaines, Owner/Director, Euqinom Projects, San Francisco, CA

Kimberly Johansson, Founder/Director, Johansson Projects, Oakland, CA

Ann Trinca, Curator and Gallery Director, Berkeley Art Center, Berkeley, CA

Eric Nakamura, Curator and Owner, Giant Robot, Los Angeles, CA

There are application and exhibitor fees. For more information please visit:  https://www.startupartfair.com/sf/overview/ or contact Ray Beldner at: ray@startupartfair.com
