The MTSU Department of Art and Design has rescheduled Spoken Word for Saturday, March 31, 2018. The event to be located in Todd Art Gallery, in Todd Hall, and outside as appropriate to each presentation. Accepting proposals from students, emerging, and mid-career artists whose practice is concerned with performance, text, and spoken word, especially as relates indirectly or directly to communication, education, socio-economic inequities, or literacy.  

Preference will be given to those artists that can be in attendance to perform and/or discuss their work. No stipends for expenses are available.

To apply submit proposal with work description, duration of performance or video, and needed technical requirements.

Submissions are free.
