A 4-week artist-in-residence are now being accepted by South Dakota State University’s School of Design from artists working in any discipline, including interdisciplinary approaches. The artist-in-residence will develop artwork independently and will share project conceptualization and visual progression with students, faculty and community. Requirements: a full-time working schedule with open door policy; a public lecture at the South Dakota Art Museum; an open studio event and/or exhibition at Ritz Gallery; possible meet-and-greet events.

Included: 24/7 access to a 1,200 sq. ft. lockable studio space; private accommodation within a smoke-free and pet-free property at walking distance from campus.
