The Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA) is accepting applications for the Alonzo Davis Fellowship, to be awarded for a residency between June 1, 2019 - May 31, 2020. Applications are open to visual artists, writers, or composers of African-American or Latinx descent. This juried fellowship will be awarded on a competitive basis, and the selection will be made based on the quality of the work. 

The Alonzo Davis Fellowship is a fully-funded two-week residency that provides a private bedroom, separate studio, and all meals in a community of 25 visual artists, writers, and composers.
