The Department of Art at Rowan University seeks a visual artist for the annual Artist in Residence Program. This residency supports the artistic development of professional artists while advancing creative and artistic excellence within the Rowan community. The residency period is one full semester and offers a $3000 stipend, access to a 280 square foot studio space, access to department of art facilities, an optional solo exhibition, and artist-led programming.

The Artist in Residence Program provides students with an opportunity to observe an artist at work and to engage in dialogue with the artist through talks, demonstrations, and open studio visits.

Applications for the Artist in Residence Program are now being accepted.
