Taking place on 17-20 of November at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Center, SIGGRAPH Asia will bring together computing professionals, artists, educators, experts and visionaries from around the world in industries from science, to entertainment, and fine art.

As a Student Volunteer, you are invited to volunteer 16 hours of service in support of a variety of conference venues such as Computer Animation Festival, The Art Gallery, Emerging Technologies and Technical Papers among others. Beyond supporting the Conference as a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to meet and learn from professionals, creators, educators, and visionaries who help to turn dreams into reality. Additionally, the benefits you receive as Student Volunteers include a Full Conference pass to use during your free time, exclusive access to Student Volunteer special sessions and eligibility for complimentary accommodation in Brisbane for the duration of the Conference.

Applications are submitted using the ’Student Volunteer’ option of the ’Make a New Submission’ tab on SIGGRAPH Asia 2019’s Submission Site at https://ssl.linklings.net/conferences/siggraphasia/.

Eligibility:

-Enrolled as a full-time high school, undergraduate or graduate student during the 2018 academic year, or graduated after 1 January 2017.

-At least 18 years of age as of 15 November 2019. Able to arrive in Brisbane, Australia before 12:00 UTC/GMT+10 (local time in Brisbane) on Saturday, 16 November 2019 and stay until 18:00 on Wednesday, 20 November 2019. Other arrangements for arrival and departure should be made by contacting the SV Chair directly.

-Able to present a current government-issued photo ID, such as a passport (overseas students from outside of Australia) or national ID (domestic students in Australia), at SIGGRAPH Asia 2019. Willing and able to fulfill the required amount of on-site volunteer service allocated by the Student Volunteer Program.

-Proficient in the English language.

-Complete their volunteer application prior to the Application Deadline (24 June 2019, 23:59 UTC/GMT).
