2019 Communication Design Educators Awards

Design Incubation is pleased to announce the call for entries for the 2019 Communication Design Educators Awards. The goal of this program is to discover, acknowledge, and draw attention to new creative work, published research, teaching, and service of outstanding merit. Through the awards, Design Incubation also intends to expand the design record, promote excellence, and share knowledge within the field. 

NEW—NOMINATIONS, providing mentors and colleagues a mechanism to identify outstanding creative work, published research, teaching, and service and nominate these individuals for an award. Nominations are available through July 31, 2019. Applicants may also self nominate.

Design Incubation is a venue for educators and practitioners of Communication Design to discuss design research and practice. We seek to foster collaboration, promote development, encourage discourse, cultivate theoretical frameworks, challenge notions, offer criticism, and review processes within the design community. We include designers across experience levels and backgrounds—practicing designers, graduate students, adjunct and tenure-track faculty through to distinguished professors.
