Artists are invited to submit artwork to complement the Bicentennial STRUGGLE FOR STATEHOOD traveling exhibit sponsored by the Missouri Humanities Council.
The STRUGGLE FOR STATEHOOD exhibit is exploring the significance of Missouri’s statehood and examines the conflict, crisis, and compromise surrounding its admission into the Union in commemoration of its upcoming bicentennial. This exhibit was developed by the Missouri Humanities Council in consultation with the Kinder Institute on Constitutional Democracy and is supported by The Bicentennial Alliance. Companion programming has been made possible in part from funding provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities.

3. Call in, fax or mail your entry fee no later than September 15, 2019
Theme: Missouri, the Show-Me State
Schedule: Exhibition Dates: November 11-December 10
Eligibility: Open to artists and art students nationwide
Media: Open to all traditional and non-traditional genre and media (2D, 3D, digital)
Artists are invited to submit up to three artworks.
For (digital) new media submissions, the artist is responsible for providing the required technology needed for the presentation/installation of the artwork.
Awards: The jurors will select best-of-show, first, second and third place awards.
