The Lower East Side Printshop invites emerging artists of all disciplines to apply for the 2011 Special Editions Residency. Between February 2011 and February 2012 recipients will collaborate with Master Printers to create a new body of work in printmaking. No previous printmaking experience is necessary. The Printshop will provide materials, tools/equipment, studio access, technical assistance, exhibition opportunities, project documentation, limited travel and accommodation stipends for artists residing outside New York, and up to $4,000 honorarium.

Applications must be postmarked or hand-delivered by December 2, 2010. Applicants must be legal US residents (i.e. Social Security cardholders). For more information about the Printshop, the Special Editions Residency, and application requirements, visit www.printshop.org
