CAA News Submission Guidelines

Features

In addition to reporting on CAA’s many activities, CAA News publishes articles on critical and current issues in art and art history. The editor seeks article ideas, drafts, and completed texts; length may be between 500 and 2,000 words. Submissions are subject to editing and revision, and submitted materials cannot be returned. Publication of texts is at the discretion of the editor and is not guaranteed. The editor will work with authors to secure photographs or other images.

End Notes

CAA News publishes information about individual and institutional members in the back pages of each issue. Details about our categories are listed below. Submissions may be sent to: Editor, CAA News, College Art Association, 275 Seventh Ave., 18th Floor, New York, NY 10001; caanews@collegeart.org (e-mail strongly preferred).

Listings are published on a space-available basis and at the editor’s discretion. In order to accommodate as many listings as possible, CAA cannot always confirm receipt of a listing, provide proofs or extra copies, or guarantee that your announcement will be printed in subsequent issues. Late submissions will be held for the next issue. CAA also reserves the right to edit according to house style and space requirements.
