Print Dialogue Days 2008

Category: Conferences & Symposia [View all]
Posted by: American Print Alliance
Deadline: 09/27/08

The American Print Alliance 2008 Print Dialogue Days will be September 25-27 at SCAD-Atlanta (Savannah College of Art & Design, Atlanta campus).

Our annual get-together, filled with conversation and demos, has been a regular event around the South since 1997. This year, there will be student participatory printmaking events on Thursday and an open house at the Atlanta Printmakers Studio. Friday includes technical demonstrations and gallery receptions. Then on Saturday we'll have our speakers, panel discussions and open portfolios (an opportunity to show your prints and see your colleagues' work).

Concurrent exhibitions include our "Soap Box 2: Prints, Politics & Democracy."

Everyone is invited to help create a closer sense of community among the area's printmakers, including students in print and design arts, our future professional colleagues.

Free (suggested donation $10), open to the public. More detailed information will be posted at our website: www.PrintAlliance.org
