The Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts announces its program for senior fellowships. Fellowships are for full-time research, and scholars are expected to reside in Washington; housing is provided, subject to availability. Senior fellowships are intended for those who have held the PhD for five years or more or who possess an equivalent record of professional accomplishment at the time of application. A senior fellowship award is normally limited to one-half of the applicant’s salary for the academic year, up to a maximum of $50,000, depending on individual circumstances.
