Editorial Website Intern for Spring 2011

This CAA intern will assist with editorial tasks for the website of the leading professional organization for professionals in the visual arts.

Editorial tasks include:
- Proofread and copy edit webpages for CAA website
- Fact check and conduct research
- Search for and post listings to Opportunities

Qualifications:
- Art-history or art-criticism background, with knowledge of major periods and terms
- Good proofreading skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently but keep supervisor apprised of work
- Intermediate computer skills, especially knowledge of Word, HTML, and web-based and library research

The internship period is from January to May; it is unpaid and for credit only. The intern, who must reside in the New York area during the internship period, may work at the 2011 Annual Conference (but be able to attend sessions). Questions?
