The Oregon Art Review invites all current graduate students, as well as those who have recently completed their masters or doctoral degrees within the past year, to submit papers for our inaugural issue. This issue of the Oregon Art Review will consider the relationship of art to diverse external forces, both within the discipline of art history and more broadly in the arts and humanities. Our first issue will focus on the relationship of art and architecture to various temporal elements.
Topics may include:
* Art or Architecture directly engaging temporal concerns
* Real-time art
* Performance
* Installation art
* Revival
* Archeology and conservation
* Film/Video art
* New Media
* Reproduction/Appropriation
* Ephemeral art and architecture
* Changing perceptions over a progression of time
