The Ceramics Residency program at the Lawrence Arts Center is designed to provide a creative environment for emerging artists and to broaden their work and enrich the Center’s educational programs. The residency will begin August 1, 2010 and end on July 31, 2011. The ideal candidate should be pre-professional, with a MFA or BFA in ceramics, self directed and able to work independently. A resident should be able to become involved in the LAC Education Department’s community serving youth and adults.Submission requirements include a letter of interest, resume or CV, 10 -15 slides or digital images of most recent work, contact information for 3 references, a $25 application fee and a self-addressed stamped envelope for return to Ceramics Residency, Lawrence Arts Center, 940 New Hampshire, Lawrence, KS 66044.Complete information about the residency program is available at www.lawrenceartscenter.org
