Deadline: 08/21/13

Calling for scholarly contributions to the Catalogue Raisonné of St. Louis painter Edward Boccia, Professor Emeritus, School of Fine Arts, Washington University in St. Louis. Art historians and art critics specializing in mid-to-late 20th century American painters would be ideally suited for this project. Edward Boccia's work may be loosely categorized as figurative expressionism although he adopted other styles as well. Much of his work focuses on the juxtaposition of the sacred and the profane. Some of the institutions that curate Boccia collections are the St. Louis Museum of Art, Kemper Art Museum of Washington University in St. Louis, St. Louis University, and the University of Missouri in St. Louis. Please see www.edwardboccia.com for examples of the artist's work.
