The Fine Art Department of Pratt Institute’s School of Art & Design, will host a symposium,
Strategies of Figuration in Contemporary Art
Artists Nicole Eisenman, Kurt Kauper, Ridley Howard and Frank Lind will have a conversation about how artists today are interpreting the figure in a complex world where given and chosen identities, socio-economic positions and psychological points of view impact how we look and represent human subjects.
