A.I.R. Gallery invites women artists from the New York City area to apply for our New York artist's membership. A.I.R. (Artists in Residence) is the first artist-run, not-for-profit gallery for women in the US. The NYC artists define the scope and activities of the organization and the direction of their own careers. In addition, the gallery has a professional staff with an Executive Director and Associate Director of Exhibitions. Membership benefits include exhibitions at the gallery, art fairs, and venues abroad and representation on the gallery’s website and flat files. A.I.R. Gallery is located in the thriving DUMBO gallery district in Brooklyn, NY. Look on our website under “opportunities” to learn more about the program and how to apply: http://www.airgallery.org. We will begin reviewing new applications as soon as they are received.
