The syllabus is a contract with the student. It should clearly state a professor’s expectations from students and requirements for the course. Further, various accrediting bodies and associations have their own requirements that may need addressing. Learn what should go on a syllabus and how to break down course content into individual class sessions. Components of an effective lesson plan, and how to use it as a successful teaching document, will also be discussed. Other issues will include how much can be accomplished in a single class period, what homework and/or preparations are needed for the next class session, classroom management issues, strategies for success.

Please visit http://bit.ly/Rtp5Bd to register. Deadline: January 11, 2013.
