Title: Short Tales from Foundations Practice
When/Where: February 14, 2013; 5:30–7pm Bryant Suite, Hilton, NYC
Description:
The FATE community regularly connects through the sharing of teaching methods, ideas, and studio stories. For CAA 2013, there is a continuation of the tradition of the “project swap/share.” Selected speakers (10) will present brief stories (7 minutes per participant) that reveal lesson concept, implementation, and result in six images. The lessons should be within the spectrum of foundations-level art, design, craft and related teaching. Attendance free and open to all (no conference registration/membership necessary).
Submit:
(1) a lesson description/plan - 1 page MS word doc
(2) up to 6 jpegs (72-200 dpi)
(3) contact information including name, institution, and email.
Materials due by January 15 for inclusion in the event. Participants notified by Feb 5. Email materials to Lori Kent at fateprojectswap@gmail.com
