Art Since 1940: Strategies of Being

This is the third and latest English language edition of Art Since 1940: Strategies of Being from 2010. To thank the generations of students and professors who made this the dominant book in the field for more than two decades, the author, Professor Jonathan Fineberg, wished to make it available for free for individual download for students, artists, and scholars who support CAA.

Fineberg joined CAA in 1966 as an undergraduate and has enjoyed his membership ever since.  His hope is that making this book available for free on the CAA website will encourage undergraduates today to join and participate too.
