Sculptor and/or Ceramic Artist for Spring ’18 Artist in ResidenceProgram

The Knox College Department of Art and Art History is seeking applications from Sculptors and Ceramic Artists for a spring ’18 teaching residency. Supported through the generosity of Galesburg-based Blick Art Materials, the program has a two-fold mission: To enrich the educational experience of our students through exposure to artists whose perspectives and ways of working are not represented by regular faculty or curricula. And, to benefit the Galesburg community through educational or creative opportunities, or to include community constituents in collaborative or community-basedprojects. Artists with interest in engaging economically and racially diverse communities through their work are especially encouraged to apply. Knox College particularly welcome applicants from under-represented groups. When: Spring term 2018 (March 20 - May 30).
