2019 ICAN Online Juried Exhibition
The Bottoms Up! contest is open to all current ICAN members. All entries must be constructed primarily of clay; be food safe; functional; weigh less than 6 pounds and be under 12 inches in height. Juried from digital only. A maximum of three entries per member. All entries must be submitted through Submittable, along with a $10 processing fee. (If you don’t have a Submittable account, it is free and easy to create!) No late entries accepted.

Dates to Know:
Submissions due September 19, 2019 11:59 PM ESD
Entrants notified of jury results by email no later than October 17, 2019
Work exhibited on ICAN Website, October 17th–December 12th, 2019
Best in Show: $250
Runner Up: $100
All Finalists will be featured on the Ceramic Arts Network website for an impressive 8-week exhibition and will have the opportunity to sell their work through the ICAN Marketplace.
2020 ICAN Wall Calendar contest
The ICAN Calendars are a great way for you to get your work in print and up on other members’ studio walls. The ICAN Wall Calendar call for entries is members-only exclusive contest, so mark your calendars and submit your work!
Calendar submission is FREE and is juried by the editorial staff from Ceramics Monthly and Pottery Making Illustrated! Submissions end on September 19th at 11:59 EDT.
Here are this year’s categories:
Sculptural—including figurative, abstract, and architectural.
Mugs—including either a single or sets of work.
Surface Decoration—including Mishima, Sgraffito, and Resist Patterns.
Functional—including all forms of functional pottery and even pots in action.
