WE ARE SEEKING engaging contemporary work that combines art with technology to demonstrate creativity, critical problem solving, and conceptual ideas. About submitting work:
This exhibition will focus on artists working in the rapidly expanding field of new media art. The exhibit intends to engage visitors to the gallery with concepts that are enhanced using technology. Applicants are encouraged to think beyond the traditional in-gallery exhibition presentation to consider other possibilities and forms of public engagement.
Media & Specifications:
All entries must relate to the following categories: digital work, sound art, programming as art, interactive art, video art, animation, participatory digital art. Artworks can be submitted as realized, or concept works in the application. All artists must reside in the United States. The artist must have completed submitted artwork within the last five years. Work submitted must be original in concept and design. Up to 3 submissions per artist Works that are STEM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or emphasize Maker skill-sets are encouraged.Submissions to this call for work will be juried by a panel of experts as it pertains to the quality of the work submitted and the consideration of the venue and audience.
The exhibition will be installed in the state-of-the-art, MCC Art Gallery.

Notification of Status: December 2, 2019
Accepted Work Due (if the work has physical components): January 6, 2020
On exhibition: January 13, 2020 - March 19, 2020
Opening Reception: T.B.D.
Deinstall and Return of Artwork: March 23 - April 1, 2020
