Open Call for Solo Exhibitions

The University of Mobile’s Marilyn Foley Art Gallery is accepting proposals for solo exhibitions for the 2020-2021 academic year. All media will be considered. Marilyn Foley Art Gallery is located on the campus of the University of Mobile in Mobile Alabama.  A stipend will be provided for attendance at the opening reception and an artist lecture. The artist will be responsible for the shipment and pick-up of works exhibited. Proposals should be submitted as a single PDF and should include the following: contact information, current resumé(s), artist or curatorial statement (includes title of your exhibit), 20 images of work, and a corresponding image list with artist’s name, title, media, size, and date. Submit proposals via email  to Phillip Counselman (umobileart@gmail.com) by April 30, 2020. Notifications will be sent via email by May 16 2020.
