SECAC 2020 Artist’s Fellowship

An Artist’s Fellowship amount of $5,000.00 and an Artist’s Fellowship Honorable Mention amount of $1,000.00 are to be awarded to individual artists or to groups of artists working together on a specific project. A financial award for the SECAC Artist’s Fellowship Honorable Mention is available for the first time this year and is funded by the SECAC Artist’s Fellowship endowment that was established in 2018. Any member of SECAC may apply; all group applications require membership for all in the group. The cost of individual membership is $70.00. SECAC requests that the fellows provide documentation of the project or work produced during the fellowship period (one year from receipt of fellowship money). Documentation may take the form of an exhibition at the subsequent annual SECAC conference‚ a catalogue or other publication form‚ an exhibition of the work exhibited at another institution during the fellowship period‚ a presentation, or another proposed and accepted form of documentation.
