Posted by: Fresh As Fruit
Deadline: Tue, December 1st, 2020

Fresh As Fruit, is looking for solo or two person proposals to kick off our 2021 exhibition calendar! Now housed in the front of a working mechanics garage, Fresh As Fruit found a new pop-up space with social distance built in.

Fresh As Fruit Gallery is an alternative visual art exhibition space that hosts artists from all over the United States. With openings once a month highlighting a two person or solo show, we aim to support the local community by offering free admission to our exhibitions.

Timeline - Exhibitions are highlighted for one weekend, Friday-Sunday, once a month.

Deadline Dec. 1st: Please submit your CV,  500 word proposals and 5 images/or website link to freshasfruitgallery@gmail.com to have work considered in our 2021 exhibition cycle.

Eligibility: A recent mission in the gallery is to display work of artists who have previously been under-represented in the traditional spaces that the Fine Art world inhabits. Specifically, members of the LGBTQ+ community, black artists and artists of color, non-bionary artists, women, indigenous peoples of the Americas and people with disabilities. It is important that we reflect the diverse community that surrounds us in DeLand to focus on all the ways in which making and expressing can be experienced creating further connectivity
