Prince Street Gallery, an artist-run gallery in Chelsea, is reviewing applications for gallery membership. Artists living outside NYC can apply for out-of-town membership. Emerging artists aged 25 to 35 are eligible for membership at half fee for a two year period.

Founded in 1970, Prince Street Gallery is a non-profit, organized as an alternative to the commercial gallery system. The independent artists forming the gallery share a venue for both figurative and non-representational work. Solo, group, theme, and invitational shows are planned by members in a schedule of 10 shows per year. The gallery also hosts one national juried exhibition per year, and 2 or 3 summer guest shows. All responsibilities of the business of running the gallery are shared by gallery artists.
