Engaging Barrow: OPEN CALL for artists/companies

What can you dream up that will creatively inspire our people?

 

Barra Culture is part of Arts Council England’s Creative People and Places programme (CPP). As part of our ‘Engaging Barrow’ artists-in-residence programme for 2021-22, this is an OPEN CALL for 4 community-engaged artists/companies working in any art form(s).

 

Working with either:

-              A geographic community, anything from a street of 50 people up to a neighbourhood of around 3000

or

-       A characteristic/identity group – teenagers, young adults, older people, physically disabled people, neurodiverse people, women, men, families with young children

and in collaboration with Barra Culture’s Creative Communities team, you will deliver an exciting, distinctive, and inspirational participatory arts project in the Borough of Barrow-in-Furness.
