Exhibition Description:

Target Gallery invites artists working in all visual media to apply for Sweet Tooth, a group exhibition that is all about decadence, desire, and craving. Artwork can embody this theme physically through vibrancy and the richness of color and texture. Artwork can also represent these themes through a more conceptual connection such as explorations of coveting, gluttony, greed, and yearning.

Notes About The Exhibition:

Due to the pandemic, we must limit interactive work or works that encourage touching* in the exhibition. That said this boundary lends itself well to this exhibition which is all about wanting. In addition, taste is also something that comes to mind when considering the term Sweet Tooth, so we challenge artists to present artwork that evoke that sensation available in a visual form. All visual media as well as limited sound and video work** is encouraged to embody these themes.

*some interactive work may be allowed; the juror will need to consult with the staff to decide what is hygienically feasible before accepting.
