ITSLIQUID Group is pleased to announce the open call for the 17th edition of ROME INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR 2025, an international exhibition of photography, painting, video art, installation/sculpture, and performance art, which will take place in Rome, at ITSLIQUID Art Space – Rome, from December 05 to December 18, 2025.

Since its foundation in 2001, ITSLIQUID Group has organized more than 350 international exhibitions and events, engaging over 10,000 artists across more than 60 cities worldwide. Its initiatives have featured prestigious institutions such as the CCCB – Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona in Spain, the NCCA – National Center for Contemporary Arts in Moscow, the MuMo – Museum Montanelli in Prague, and the MUST Museum in Lecce, alongside numerous galleries and private foundations.

Thanks to its collaboration with Sedition, ITSLIQUID has presented works by internationally recognized masters such as Bill Viola and Refik Anadol, creating significant opportunities for emerging, mid-career, and renowned artists to expand their visibility and reach.

ROME INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR 2025 investigates the complex relationship between body and space, and the hybridization of identities within cultural, physical, social, and urban contexts in contemporary society. The exhibition is divided into two main thematic sections: MIXING IDENTITIES and FUTURE LANDSCAPES.

MIXING IDENTITIES explores the hidden dimensions of our identities through an immersive journey into the fascinating labyrinths of human consciousness. The human body is presented as a dynamic and ever-changing system, connecting us to other bodies and spaces, acting as a profound means of communication with its own language and infinite forms of expression.

FUTURE LANDSCAPES focuses on abstract, limitless, and conceptual dimensions associated with freedom and the sense of infinite expansion. These landscapes are primarily experienced through the mind, redefining limits and borders, and transforming surfaces into an open flow of pure ideas. This section examines the evolving relationships between body, mind, and soul, as well as the interconnections among human identity, the city, space, and the ground.

Deadline for applications: October 12, 2025 (11:59 PM local time).

 

Artists, photographers, video makers, and performers are invited to submit their proposals. To participate in the selection, applicants should send their CV/biography, images of their works (or still images for video art), links to videos, films, or performances, and a brief description of the works submitted, via email to director@itsliquid.com.
