Education is continually evolving as technologies, theories, disciplines and social contexts reshape how we teach and learn. Focus on Pedagogy 2026: Across Teaching, Theory, Technologies & Times explores this changing landscape across art, design, social sciences, STEM, health, media, humanities, environmental sciences and beyond. We welcome papers examining both innovative and established pedagogies, including AI, studio-based teaching, problem-based learning, flipped classrooms, ungrading, socially engaged pedagogy and peer learning. The conference particularly encourages work that considers how teaching practices operate within individual disciplines, cross-disciplinary boundaries, and reveal connections, tensions and possibilities across different educational contexts, traditions and futures.
A collaboration between universities in the UK, US, Thailand, Denmark, Mexico and Japan.
Glasgow School of Art, University of San Francisco, Bangkok University, Chuo University Tokyo, UC Copenhagen and the Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes Mexico.
