For More Information and to submit please visit: https://www.buckhamgallery.org/abstraction-cfe.html

Abstraction bends the perception of reality and allows us to see beyond what is tangible.  It looks past realistic representation and explores the limitless possibility of line, shape, form, color, value, texture, and space.  These works invite our viewers to experience the work through their own subjective means - to explore, discover, think, and feel.  In abstraction, what could appear to be "nothing" is still something.  Buckham Fine Arts Project welcomes innovative two dimensional and three dimensional works that push boundaries through visualizing not what the eyes see, but what the mind sees.

Founded in 1984, Buckham Fine Arts Project | Buckham Gallery is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the vision to support and nurture artists, build community and inclusivity, while challenging our audience to engage with contemporary art in new ways. In commitment to our vision to support artists, Buckham Gallery will provide a stipend of $50 to each artist selected for this exhibition to aid in shipping costs. We acknowledge this may not cover all costs associated with the shipment and return of artwork.

The Abstraction exhibition will be held November 13 - December 19, 2026 at Buckham Gallery in Flint, MI.

Please direct any questions to Michele Leclaire at exhibitions@buckhamgallery.org or 810-239-6233.
