It’s Magazine is a digital lifestyle magazine covering fashion, sports and luxury travel across twelve sections. Call for contributing writers and a section editor for our Arts section. Every applicant chooses one role: Contributing Writer or Section Editor.

You write or work in the art world: galleries, museums, fairs, auctions, design, photography or performance. You would write on exhibitions, artists, fairs and auctions, design and the art market, from New York to Miami and beyond.

Contributing Writer: 400 to 600 word pieces, reported and sourced, with a real credited photo. Every piece goes through editor review. Byline on every piece and your own author page.

Section Editor: you own the Arts section page, its editorial calendar, editing and approving contributor pieces, commissioning writers and growing the section’s audience. Editors never sell advertising. Qualified editors receive a short questionnaire.

Requirements: 3+ years of professional writing or editing experience; published bylines required. Not entry-level, no interns. Plain, confident writing, no hype, no politics. Remote, US-based preferred, contract.
