Posted by: UPWARD Gallery
Deadline: Mon, November 30th, 2026
UPWARD Gallery invites artists to submit artwork for our juried online art exhibition, Artist of the Autumn.
The call is open to work in any style and genre. We welcome submissions in a variety of media, including but not limited to: oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, gouache, egg tempera, pen and ink, graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, markers, digital painting, photography, printmaking, textiles, pottery, embroidery, stained glass, collage, and mixed media.
This call is open to artists 18 or older who are legal residents of the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, or a member state of the European Union. The work must be your own. We do not accept profane or political campaign work.
Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, a merit award, an honorable mention, finalist, and a certificate of participation. After results are published, the diploma is in your account. 1st place is interviewed on the site. A Special Edition — a printed publication of 22 pages devoted to one artist — is offered to the 1st place winner when that artist has a body of work, typically about 20 pieces. We prepare that edition free of charge; a printed copy is $12, plus shipping. Each participant receives a personal artist page on the gallery website. You keep the copyright in your work. Winners are announced on 8 December 2026.
Fee: $20 for the first entry, $10 for each additional entry. Up to 4 works per artist.
Deadline: 30 November 2026.

The UPWARD Gallery was founded in 2021. Our shows live online, so the work isn’t tied to one city or one opening night. We assist emerging artists in gaining recognition and established artists in expanding their influence.
