"Censored: Visual Explorations of Censorship in Contemporary America."

Georgia College & State University's GCSU Museum is currently accepting submissions of two-dimensional artworks in various media for an exhibition entitled, "Censored." Artworks selected will explore the subject of censorship in contemporary American society. Commentaries may deal with the censorship of the visual arts, literature, film, music, theatre, museums and/or other forms of media that seek to intellectually engage an audience. The exhibit will open October 22 and close November 28, 2009.

GCSU Museum will accept digital submissions only. Please send name(s), mailing address, city/state, zip and required attachments via email to shannon.morris@gcsu.edu.
Attachments should include resume or C.V., a brief description of the work submitted (no more than one page) and a 300 dpi image (no more than two images may be submitted per artist or collaborative group).

Artists will be notified of their selection by Monday, October 5, 2009 via email.
