PushingtheLimits 2012 is a biennial exhibition held at artspace gallery in Richmond, VA. The show aims to expand the definition of fiber work within contemporary art while providing a venue for established and emerging artists to exhibit. Multi-media, video and installation work will be considered.

PushingtheLimits 2012 will be juried by Katherine Shaw. Shaw attended North Carolina School of the Arts in the early 1990s. In 1997 she received a BFA, in Sculpture with a minor in Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University. Shaw received an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art.
